Eternities of Color

How many years,

Can we bottle in the oceans?

How many thoughts,

Can we carry in our hearts?

The years are like oceans,

With multiplicities of kindness.

Wisdom is like crystals,

With eternities of color.

And you,

My beloved.

Make art with your crystals,

And oceans with your years.

Upon the painted canvas,

With subtlety and grace.

As love from all the salty seas,

Comes crashing on the shores.

And luminosity in flowers,

Comes dashing with sunshine.

As wisdom speaks kindly,

To those with younger ears.
