A Gentle Light

A gentle light,

On the darkness of a wall.

As through simple thoughts,

In the beauty of morning.

To create a world unknown,

In the closeness of time.

And by the shadows,

Of the evening leaves.

Transfigurations of rain,

In the dashing of the sky.

A moony droplit,

So perfect and white.

In moving the shadows,

Is the excellence of love.

A spark of creation,

Within a glimpse of eternity.

Flowers in the Wind

A Light Upon the Evening
