In the World of Burning Cards

Among the flickers,

Of candlelight.

So strong,

And gloriously bright.

I poured out my hand,

Upon an unyielding image.

And forever would I mourn,

In the world of burning cards.

With infinite hands,

Did I play.

This game of never-ending,

Cards upon the ocean.

Only in God,

Can I now play.

With smokey cards unburning,

Upon the soul within me.

Forever am I lost,

Amidst the light so beautifully.

My cards are bright and empty,

So perfectly free and wonderful.
