The Glancing Light of Sand

The dance of the ocean -

Or the gust of the wind.

The glancing light of sand -

And the gleaming of the moon.

A spirit in the dust -

Is a glistening light of crystal.

The orange rock of stone -

In the capitulation of the sky.

The forest is my grace -

With thousands of pretty diamonds.

Enumerating now my love -

Like flowers in the moonlight.

What now is my casting sun -

That it is glorious in the bloody soil of the earth?

What shall the sky remember -

Of my fleeting life below?

Unrelenting candles are now to sparkle -

Like a rainbow in the summer.

Fixated in the stars -

Is a ring of rainbows in the water.

I reach out through myself seeking after the heavens -

In the starry lights of love.

And I see the sandy red and orange -

Of the desert in the moon.
