A Thistle of Golden Yarn

A sandy wellspring,

Of love, grace and beauty.

A cup of wine,

With the fabric of the universe.

An hour of simple numbers,

On the bay of a spotless river.

A boat of purple rust,

In a light of perfect steel.

A moment of thoughts and passions,

In the cusp of night and day.

An apple of golden paint,

In the brushing of the wind.

A light of stars and thunder,

On the fabric of the moon.

A gem of red and silver,

In the heart of metal and earth.

A small glass of water,

Behind a tent of sandy white.

A gleaming star of perfect dust,

On the ridge of time and earth.

A constitution of hours,

On a bridge of perfect elegance.

And many years of wisdom,

In a thistle of golden yarn.
